Pardew has 3 more years on his Palace contract. Sullivan woudnt pay the compensation would he?

He's a much better Manager than he was when he left us. I was never a massive fan to be honest.
I think he's found his home at Palace. It just works for him.
I would like us to aim higher really.

Would love him to return as that first season up and cup final was my favourite ever supporting West Ham home and away.
However, it wouldn't be a good move for him to return as he did divide the fans, although not as much as the fat cunt we have now and we need to be looking past 8th spot when recruiting a manager given the weight of expectation of the OS. By that I mean we need to fork out for a manager who is used to getting into and competing in Europe and that's probably a bit past Pardew right now.
Good luck to him at Palace mind.

Has earned 49 points across the 2 teams so far this season based on a quick scan of his time at newcastle and palace.
Would be 8th based on those points.
I liked the style and energy we played under, however he has some baggage at the club.

I don't think Pardew did divide West Ham fans. When we played poorly he got justified criticism, but most of the time he pretty much got 100% support.

Would be fine but his shelf life is short 2 years is about as long as we would get before it went tits up. Massive improvement over Allardyce would do well with this team.

I generally liked Pardew as a manager at the start & even more so at the end.
He got cunted when he fucked up & rightly so, but generally he learnt from his errors unlike the current manager.
He was recommended & sought out by Brooking so that's good enough for me & it's a shame DS isn't using ( presumably) Brookings input & experience in looking for BFS replacement.
What happened with the Argies & the way it was dropped on him without him even knowing was a joke & was always going to cause trouble as were the new owners thinking they could run before they could walk, even if they weren't really bankrupt con men.
May have got too big headed & was causing unrest at the club? I don't know, that might have been hyped up spin by the Icelandic mob.
Either way I was sorry to see him go.
As for having him back, I'm generally not one for looking to have players/ managers back, so on balance & despite the fact I like him - no thanks.
